 QUOTE:

“Lanahan spent the past 18 years as a builder of community, of relationships, of people, and of the church. A fundraiser for more than 38 years he proved invaluable not only as a fundraiser, but as a mentor and quick-witted ally.  Many have pointed to him as a leader, a mentor, and also the first to lend a word of encouragement or piece of advice should things go sideways.  He recognizes the talents of others and emboldens them to realize and develop those gifts further.”

Catholic Star Herald, Diocese of Camden, March, 2019

During his 38 years as an institutional advancement professional, he was involved in raising over $193M for educational institutions, hospitals and faith-based organizations and in 2018 was named the Outstanding Fundraiser of the Year by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

He is a graduate of La Salle University (B.A.), Temple University (M.A.) and Villanova University ( M.S.C.M.), and served as an adjunct faculty member at La Salle University for 35 years.

He is an active volunteer in his parish serving as chair of the Pastoral Council and member of the Finance Council, and Eucharistic Minister.

He is co-founder and a board member of the Catholic Business Network of South Jersey and a Consumer Reviewer for the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program

In his spare time he is an avid sailor, owning a 1969 O’Day Mariner and a 2008 Com-Pac Picnic Cat.
