COVID can't stop this

I can't believe it is that time of year again albeit earlier than usual. Despite days of rain, tere have also been a few days of sunny, warm weather. That means the hull has been cleaned and waxed, the teak cleaned, brightened and oiled. and everything else checked and ready to go. One gel coat repair left to do, tiores to be inflated to right pressure and bearings greased and we are ready to go. That is an awful lot accomplished given that she probably won't be put on her mooring until the last week of May.

The good news is that I can do all the solo sailing I want on the lake. No one gets gets closer than within 6 feet. If I go to the lake during the week I will be the only one there on a 2 by 4 mile body of water.

Can't wait, and of course, hoping that our social distancing limits will no longer be required.

To everyone, take care and be safe.
